UGH THE CHOICES

For some reason, I was expecting college to be this non-stop cornucopia of partying and alcohol and other stuff. To my (not all that unfortunate, tbh) surprise, there’s a lot about college that’s pretty damn boring.

Truthfully, I haven’t began the actual “school” part of college, as of yet; this first week has been a sort of orientation type of thing, with the first four days and nights filled with programs and meeting and group-building activities that failed to yield a whole bunch of friends — although I did meet a few cool dudes and girls — and made college seem less like college and more like a church camp nightmare. I did go to a frat party, which was interesting. (That’s all I’m saying about that.)

Now that that’s all over, it’s basically just me chillin with the roommate, playing COD, and eating a lot of dorm food (the food here at Purdue is amazing, actually, so the latter is a good thing). We’re going to a club or something tonight though, which should also be interesting.

Also, it’s strange to live in such close proximity to someone else after savoring my time alone for so long. It’s not bad, just has been taking some getting used to.
